This conversation occured in our kitchen yesterday morning:Me: Evan, mommy and daddy are going to the doctor today. The doctor is going to take pictures of the baby in mommy's tummy. We will also find out if the baby is a boy or a girl! Would you like it if mommy had a little boy baby?
Evan: No!
Me: Would you like it if mommy had a little girl baby?
Evan: No!
Me: Those are really the only two choices, honey.
Grandma: Would you like it if mommy had a MONKEY?
Evan: Uh-huh! (emphatically)
Thanks Grandma! ;)
So, without further ado, we are excited to announce that we are having a GIRL!
I'm sure that Evan will be thrilled once he gets over the disappointment of not having a MONKEY for a sibling.
